Australian born photographer Rob Blackburn was brought up in the rural edges of Melbourne and brings his connection with the landscape and the natural world to his commerical photography.
Moving to the city, the diversity and sophistication of urban life infuses his imagery with acute studies of people, lifestyles, and the way we interact with our cultural environment.
He’s been running his freelance photography for 20 years, cutting his teeth in the heady advertising days of the late 80s, providing him with knowledge and experience to manage and direct complex, layered, long shoots.
When he’s not focusing through a lense, he gazes to the horizon, anticipating the next set from his surfboard, or the
line of the road ahead through his motorbike helmet visor. |
